Green Cleaning Services in Orange County

Non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning on any EBS program, for Irvine and Newport Center offices, North County industrial buildings and South County campuses.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance offers green cleaning services in Orange County on any janitorial or porter program: plant-based, biodegradable products, HEPA-filtered vacuums, recycled and refillable restroom supplies on request, and practices aligned with LEED and WELL goals. Drawing on more than 25 years in commercial cleaning, EBS can set up a green program for offices, campuses, medical space and industrial buildings from Anaheim to San Clemente, with crews sent from our Corona office.

Green cleaning services in Orange County buildings, north to south

Central Orange County's office districts, from the Irvine Business Complex and the Irvine Spectrum to Newport Center, South Coast Metro and Tustin Legacy, hold corporate headquarters and multi-tenant buildings where sustainability targets are often written into leases and company policy.

North Orange County adds Anaheim Canyon's industrial and tech buildings, the Orangethorpe corridor in Fullerton and Placentia, Brea's offices, and the hospitals and universities of Orange and Fullerton. South Orange County is business parks and medical campuses: Pacific Park in Aliso Viejo, Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita and Talega in San Clemente, plus the hospital campuses in Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills.

What changes when a program goes green

Going green does not change what gets cleaned. It changes the products, the equipment and the supplies, area by area.

LEED green cleaning and WELL goals in Irvine and Newport Center

Owners pursuing or keeping LEED or WELL certification need cleaning that matches the building's green cleaning policy: approved products, suitable equipment and records that show both. EBS follows practices aligned with LEED and WELL, keeps its product list current and can share it with your sustainability lead. Certification itself is the owner's process; EBS's part is keeping daily cleaning consistent with it and documenting what was used.

Medical and lab space: green where it fits

Irvine, Aliso Viejo and the hospital districts of Orange, Newport Beach and Mission Viejo hold a great deal of medical office and device-company space. Green products work well in offices, lobbies and break rooms there, but exam rooms, labs and other controlled areas still need EPA-approved disinfectants and the protocols written for those rooms. The scope marks which is which, so a green program never weakens infection control.

Recycling and organics under SB 1383

California's SB 1383 requires businesses to keep organic waste out of the trash stream, which makes break-room sorting part of daily cleaning. Crews collect trash, recycling and organics separately, keep containers where they belong and point out contamination to your facility contact. In industrial buildings in Anaheim Canyon and along Orangethorpe Avenue, where break rooms serve whole shifts, that sorting matters as much as the products.

How a green program is supervised

A green program is checked like any other EBS program. Supervisors inspect on a routine schedule, record results in eHub, where every correction is tracked to completion, and confirm that only approved products are on the cart. Team members learn the green product list before they start, pass background checks and wear EBS uniforms, and the backup staff who cover absences use the same products.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Does green cleaning cost more?

Not necessarily. Product costs vary, and some green choices, such as refillable dispensers, can offset others. The price of any program depends mainly on square footage, frequency, scope and floor types, and the walkthrough produces a quote that shows the green options clearly.

Are green products strong enough for restrooms?

For routine cleaning, yes. Plant-based cleaners handle soil, soap scum and odors well, and EPA-approved disinfectants are still used on touch points such as handles, faucets and flush valves, where killing germs matters. The scope sets which product goes where, so restrooms stay both clean and sanitary.

Can EBS help with our LEED or WELL certification?

EBS can support it but does not certify buildings. Our practices are aligned with LEED and WELL standards, and we can provide the product list and describe our equipment and procedures for your documentation. The certification itself is handled by the owner and the certifying organization.

Can an existing EBS program switch to green products?

Yes, on request. Green products and supplies can be added to any EBS program. The supervisor reviews each area, swaps products where they fit, updates the written scope and briefs the crew, and the change is checked during the next routine inspections.
