Airport and Aviation Cleaning in San Bernardino County

Overnight and round-the-clock cleaning for the Inland Empire's air cargo hubs, former Air Force airfields and general aviation fields.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides airport and aviation cleaning in San Bernardino County for air cargo buildings, airfield offices, hangars and general aviation facilities around Ontario International, San Bernardino International, Southern California Logistics Airport, Chino and Cable airports. Programs are built around overnight sort operations and shift changes, keep packaging debris off ramps, and cover break rooms, restrooms, offices and floors. Crews are background-checked and come from the EBS office in Corona.

The county's airports and the work around them

Freight operations and former military bases put to new use shape much of San Bernardino County's aviation. The table summarizes each airfield in the service area and the cleaning scope it usually calls for.

Airport and aviation cleaning in San Bernardino County's cargo hubs

Air cargo runs on a clock that is the reverse of an office. Sort operations often peak overnight, and the busiest rooms in a cargo building are the break rooms, restrooms and locker areas used by large shift crews. Cleaning is timed between waves: a full reset just before each shift arrives, restocking and trash runs during breaks, and deep work in the lulls. Offices and training rooms are cleaned on the day schedule.

Cargo handling also leaves shrink wrap, strapping and cardboard scraps behind. Near ramps and hangar doors those scraps become foreign object debris, so crews sweep and bag them with lids closed and follow the airport's FOD procedures on every pass.

High Desert airfields: wind, grit and wide temperature swings

Southern California Logistics Airport and Hesperia Airport sit north of the Cajon Pass, where wind drives grit into hangars and summer heat gives way to cold winter nights. Programs there put weight on entry matting, door tracks and HEPA vacuuming, and they schedule hangar floor work for the mildest part of the day. In summer, crews follow Cal/OSHA's indoor heat rule (Title 8 section 3396) inside hot hangars, with water, rest and adjusted hours. High Desert visits run on fixed routes up I-15, so the same team returns each time.

General aviation in the West Valley

Chino and Cable airports are smaller and quieter, but their buildings still need dependable care. Hangar offices, pilot lounges and restrooms are cleaned on scheduled visits, hangar floors are degreased with wash water collected rather than run off, and visitor areas at Chino's air museums can be added to the scope. Supervisors check each site on a routine schedule and log findings in EBS's eHub system, and backup staff step in when a regular team member is out.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Do you clean air cargo facilities that run overnight?

Yes. Cargo programs are timed around sort shifts, with break rooms, restrooms and locker areas reset before each wave and restocked during breaks. Offices are handled on a day schedule, and a priority line is answered at any hour for spills or urgent problems.

How do you keep packaging debris off the ramp?

By treating it as foreign object debris, not just trash. Crews sweep shrink wrap, strapping and cardboard from dock edges and hangar doors on every pass, bag it with the lid closed, and follow the airport's FOD rules for anything outside the building line.

Do you serve aviation businesses in Victorville and the High Desert?

Yes. Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley and Adelanto are part of the EBS service area. Crews travel up I-15 from Corona over the Cajon Pass on set days, and High Desert programs put extra emphasis on dust control because of the wind.

How close is your Corona office to Ontario and San Bernardino?

Close enough to make schedule changes easy. I-15 runs through both Corona and Ontario, so crews and supervisors reach the Ontario and San Bernardino airport areas on a direct route rather than a cross-county trip. Every program in the county is run from that single Corona office.

Can you clean break rooms between shift changes?

Yes. That is often the most important task in a cargo or logistics building. Crews clear tables, wipe appliances and touch points, empty trash and restock supplies in the window before the next shift, so each crew starts with a clean break room.
