Airport and Aviation Cleaning in Riverside County

Cleaning for general aviation airports, aerial firefighting support buildings and aircraft parts manufacturers across Riverside County, planned from Corona.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides airport and aviation cleaning in Riverside County for general aviation fields such as Flabob, French Valley and Hemet-Ryan airports, aviation offices and hangars, and aircraft component manufacturers in Riverside's industrial parks. Programs cover hangar floors, pilot and crew areas, offices, restrooms and production support spaces, with schedules that flex for wildfire season and summer heat. EBS runs every program from its office in Corona, inside the same county.

Airport and aviation cleaning in Riverside County, close to our office

Outside the Coachella Valley, Riverside County's aviation is mostly general aviation and aviation industry rather than airline service. Flabob Airport is a small general aviation field beside the Santa Ana River in Jurupa Valley, a short drive from the EBS office in Corona. French Valley Airport, operated by the county, sits just east of Murrieta, and Hemet-Ryan Airport, also a county field, serves as a CAL FIRE air attack base. March Air Reserve Base is one of the largest employers in both Riverside and Moreno Valley, and logistics buildings in the Perris Valley Commerce Center have grown up near it.

Because the county is home territory, supervisors can visit without a long drive, and schedules are easier to adjust when an airfield's needs change from one month to the next.

Busy months at an air attack base

Aerial firefighting bases work hardest in the hot, dry months, when wildfire activity peaks. Offices, break rooms, restrooms and ready areas get far heavier use, often at odd hours, and dust and ash come in with every crew. A cleaning program for an aviation site like this is written with two levels: a routine schedule for the quiet months and an expanded one that can be switched on when the fire season starts.

Crews work only where and when operations allow, stay well clear of aircraft and ramp activity, and keep cleaning carts and supplies secured so nothing blows loose.

Aircraft component plants in Hunter and Sycamore Canyon

Riverside's light industry includes aircraft component makers in industrial parks such as Hunter and Sycamore Canyon. Manufacturers that work to AS9100, the aerospace quality management standard, are audited on housekeeping and on how they prevent foreign object debris, so the cleaning crew is part of what the auditor sees. Programs separate production support from offices and break rooms, use closed-bag trash collection, and track tools and supplies at the production floor boundary.

Supervisors record inspections and corrective actions in EBS's eHub system, which gives quality managers a dated record of housekeeping to put in front of auditors and customers.

  • Production-area floor scrubbing on a set calendar
  • Closed-bag trash and debris collection
  • Break room and restroom sanitation every shift
  • Office and conference room cleaning after hours

Heat inside hangars and on the apron

Inland summers turn closed hangars into ovens. Cal/OSHA's indoor heat illness rule (Title 8 section 3396) applies to hot indoor work areas, and the outdoor rule (section 3395) covers work on aprons, walkways and exterior glass. Crews carry water, take rest breaks in shade or cooled rooms, and do hangar floor work early in the day or at night, when temperatures drop and fewer people are moving through the building.

Which Riverside County airfields are close to your office?

Flabob Airport in Jurupa Valley is the nearest, a short drive from Corona. French Valley Airport near Murrieta and Hemet-Ryan Airport in the San Jacinto Valley are reached on regular routes along I-15 and I-215, with the same crew assigned to each site.

Can cleaning increase during wildfire season?

Yes. Programs for aviation bases that support firefighting can be written with a standard level and an expanded level, with more visits to restrooms, break rooms and offices once the season begins. The switch between levels is agreed in advance, so it only takes a call.

Do you clean aircraft component manufacturing plants?

Yes. Programs cover production support areas, offices, break rooms and restrooms, with foreign object debris controls and tool accountability on the production floor. Inspection records from eHub give quality managers documentation for customer and AS9100 audits.

Can you clean hangar floors without sending wash water to storm drains?

Yes. Oil and fluid spots are treated with absorbents first, then cleaned with a degreaser suited to the floor coating, and the wash water is picked up with an auto-scrubber or wet vacuum rather than squeegeed out the hangar door. Disposal follows the airport's own rules.

Do you also cover aviation sites elsewhere in the Inland Empire?

Yes. San Bernardino County is part of the service area too, including Ontario, San Bernardino, Chino and the High Desert, and it has its own airport and aviation cleaning page. The Coachella Valley, with Palm Springs International Airport, is covered separately as well.
