Warehouse Cleaning Services in Riverside County

Floor scrubbing, dock cleanup, racking lanes and high dusting for Inland Empire distribution centers, planned around shifts, peak season and summer heat.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides warehouse cleaning services in Riverside County for distribution centers, fulfillment buildings and manufacturing plants along the I-15, I-215 and SR-60 corridors. EBS's largest single contract tops 1 million square feet, and its crews have serviced more than 10 million square feet in total, so big-box buildings are routine work. Scrubbing, dock cleanup, racking lanes and high dusting are scheduled in zones around your shifts, and the work is run from EBS's office in Corona.

Riverside County's logistics corridors

I-15 is the western spine. Goodman Commerce Center Eastvale and the Mira Loma Industrial complex in Jurupa Valley sit beside it, along with the North Corona industrial area, and it continues south past Lake Elsinore's Business District to the manufacturers and distributors of Temecula.

SR-60 and I-215 carry the rest. Riverside's Hunter and Sycamore Canyon industrial parks lie near their junction, Moreno Valley has large fulfillment buildings and the World Logistics Center, and Perris has the Perris Valley Commerce Center near March Air Reserve Base. At the top of the San Gorgonio Pass, Beaumont is adding industrial development along Potrero Boulevard.

Warehouse cleaning services in Riverside County at big-box scale

A building with dozens of dock doors and long racking runs cannot be scrubbed end to end in one visit. The program is planned as a set of zones, each on its own cycle, with ride-on scrubbers and sweepers covering the main travel aisles. The planning steps look like this:

  • Map the building into zones: docks, main travel aisles, storage aisles, pick areas, employee areas
  • Set a cycle for each zone from forklift traffic and track-in, with docks and main aisles most frequent
  • Book high dusting of racking tops, beams and lights on a longer rotation with lift access
  • Clean restrooms, break rooms and locker areas every visit, timed to shift changes
  • Log every zone as it is completed so your safety lead can see coverage at a glance

Heat rules that shape the schedule

Inland summers turn large, partly cooled warehouses into hot workplaces, and Cal/OSHA has two standards that apply directly. EBS plans its own crews' work under both.

Cal/OSHA heat standards and how cleaning plans respond
StandardWhat it coversHow the cleaning plan responds
Title 8 section 3396, indoor heatIndoor work areas that reach the temperatures the rule sets, including warehousesHeavy scrubbing and high dusting moved to nights and early mornings in summer
Title 8 section 3395, outdoor heatOutdoor work such as truck courts, yards and dock apronsPressure washing and yard sweeping done at first light

Peak season and stretch wrap

Distribution volume in the Inland Empire swings with retail demand, and the weeks before the holidays bring more trucks, more pallets and much more stretch wrap, cardboard and banding on the floor. Debris in travel aisles is a forklift hazard, so during peak the sweeping cycle tightens and extra crew may be added.

Those changes work best when they are planned. Share your peak calendar with your supervisor, and the extra coverage is scheduled before volume climbs rather than after the floor falls behind.

Supervision from the home county

Riverside County is where EBS is based. Field supervisors inspect each site through eHub, recording findings and corrective actions, and backup staffing keeps each shift covered when a crew member is out.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Can you take on a very large distribution building?

Yes. EBS's largest single contract covers more than 1 million square feet, and its crews have serviced over 10 million square feet in total. Large buildings are planned zone by zone, with ride-on equipment for the main aisles and a cycle for each area based on how hard it is used.

How do you deal with heat inside the warehouse in summer?

By scheduling the heaviest work, such as machine scrubbing and high dusting, for nights and early mornings, and by planning crews' work under Cal/OSHA's indoor heat standard, Title 8 section 3396. Outdoor tasks fall under the outdoor heat rule and are done before the day heats up.

Do your crews pick up stretch wrap, cardboard and pallet debris?

Yes. Loose debris in aisles, around docks and under racking is collected as part of sweeping, and sweeping frequency can rise during peak season. Baling and recycling equipment stay under your team's control, and crews place collected material where your site rules say it should go.

Do you only cover the western part of the county?

No. Coverage runs from Corona, Eastvale and Jurupa Valley through Riverside, Moreno Valley and Perris to Beaumont, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula. Every site has a field supervisor, and crews leave from the Corona office to reach each one.
