Desert project cleaning

Specialty Cleaning Services in the Coachella Valley

Project cleaning timed to the desert calendar, for resorts, Highway 111 retail, medical offices and county buildings from Palm Springs to Coachella.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides specialty cleaning services in the Coachella Valley for resorts and hospitality properties, retail and restaurants, medical offices and public buildings, covering post-renovation cleanup, commercial deep cleaning, event cleanup and pressure washing. With more than 100 employees and over 25 years in commercial cleaning, EBS sends crews from its Corona office and plans each job around the desert's season and its summer heat.

Specialty cleaning services in the Coachella Valley, west to east

In the Western Coachella Valley, Palm Springs has the Village downtown, the Uptown Design District, the convention center and the airport area, with Desert Regional Medical Center close by. Rancho Mirage adds the Eisenhower Health campus and the resorts and restaurants of Highway 111, and Cathedral City brings its auto center and downtown arts district.

The Central Coachella Valley centers on Palm Desert: El Paseo, The Shops at Palm Desert, College of the Desert and the CSUSB and UCR Palm Desert campuses. Farther east, Indio holds county administrative buildings, the Larson Justice Center and John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, La Quinta has its resorts and Old Town, and the city of Coachella adds packing, shipping and light industrial space where SR-86 meets I-10.

Planning projects around the desert season

Demand in the valley rises in the cooler months, when seasonal residents and visitors arrive, so specialty work follows the calendar more closely here than anywhere else we work.

Post-renovation and event cleanup for hospitality

Resorts and hotels along Highway 111, in La Quinta and around Palm Springs often save renovations for the slower months. Each renovated wing needs dust removed from ledges, vents, fixtures and furniture, glass cleared of labels and overspray, and floors and carpets restored before guests return. Crews follow the contractor in phases and leave each area ready for the property's own inspection.

In season, event rooms at resorts and the convention center, and the restaurants and shops around them, need space ready before guests arrive and reset after they leave. The scope names who signs off and when the room must be back in service.

Medical offices and county buildings

Medical office space around Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, Desert Regional in Palm Springs and JFK Memorial in Indio needs deep cleaning between tenants and after remodels. Crews work in waiting rooms, offices, staff areas and restrooms with EPA-approved disinfectants on touch points, and clinical rooms are cleaned only under the protocol agreed at the walkthrough. County administrative buildings in Indio keep their own access rules, which EBS's public-sector experience prepares crews to follow.

Working in extreme summer heat

Valley summers are the hardest conditions we work in. Pressure washing, exterior wipe-downs and anything on sun-exposed concrete are scheduled at first light, and crews follow the shade, water and rest provisions of Cal/OSHA's outdoor heat rule, Title 8 section 3395. Indoor work in buildings that cut back air conditioning over the summer is planned with the indoor heat standard, section 3396, in mind. Wind-blown sand in entries and door tracks is another reason properties book a pre-season deep clean.

How desert projects are run

Desert projects are scheduled with the drive from our Corona office built in, and crews are sized to finish by the agreed date. A supervisor scopes each job, inspects areas as they finish and logs the results in eHub, where every correction is tracked. Crew members are screened, trained and uniformed, backup staff cover absences, and 24/7 priority support is there when a problem cannot wait.

Window cleaning, floor and carpet care and warehouse cleaning are also available in the valley. To scope a project, call (949) 375-3305 and request a walkthrough.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Is summer a good time for a deep clean in the desert?

Often it is the best time. Many resorts, shops and seasonal offices are quieter in summer, so rooms can be emptied and worked on without guests. Exterior work moves to early morning because of the heat, while interior deep cleaning and floor work continue through the day in cooled buildings.

Can you handle cleanup after events at our property?

Yes. EBS prepares event spaces beforehand and resets them afterward: trash and recycling cleared, restrooms cleaned and restocked, floors and high-touch surfaces cleaned and furniture returned. Timing is set around your event calendar, and a supervisor confirms the space is ready before it goes back into use.

Do you serve the eastern valley, including Indio and Coachella?

Yes. Our Coachella Valley coverage runs from Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs and Cathedral City through Palm Desert and Indian Wells to Indio, La Quinta, Coachella, Thermal and Mecca. Teams travel from Corona, and the service areas page lists every community we cover.

What does post-renovation cleaning include?

It removes what the contractor leaves behind: construction dust on ledges, vents, fixtures and furniture, labels and overspray on glass, adhesive and residue on floors, and a final detail of restrooms and guest-facing areas. Work runs in phases behind the trades and ends with a joint inspection with your team.
