Desert glass care

Window Cleaning Services in the Coachella Valley

Interior and exterior glass for Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indio, planned around hard water, blowing sand and summer heat.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides window cleaning services in the Coachella Valley for resorts and hotels, Highway 111 and El Paseo storefronts, medical offices and county buildings, cleaning interior glass and all accessible exterior glass, frames and sills. Crews come from our Corona office, are screened, trained and in uniform, and work under the same supervised inspection system EBS uses for its programs across Southern California.

Glass across the Western, Central and Eastern valley

In the Western Coachella Valley, Palm Springs has the Village along Palm Canyon Drive, the Uptown Design District, the convention center and the airport area. Rancho Mirage has the Eisenhower Health campus and Highway 111's Restaurant Row, and Cathedral City has its auto center showrooms. The Central valley means Palm Desert's El Paseo, The Shops at Palm Desert and the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus on Cook Street. The Eastern valley covers downtown Indio and its county buildings, La Quinta's Village and resorts, and the city of Coachella.

Hard water, sand and sun

Desert glass fails in its own ways. These are the problems we see most often and how each one is handled.

Storefront window cleaning on El Paseo and Palm Canyon Drive

The valley's shopping streets are built around display. Shops on El Paseo, stores and restaurants in the Palm Springs Village and Uptown Design District, Highway 111 retail in Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert, and Old Town La Quinta all rely on clear windows to show what is inside. Storefront glass is cleaned before opening, doors and push plates get extra attention, and in peak season visits come more often to keep up with the crowds.

Window cleaning services in the Coachella Valley for resorts, clinics and county offices

Resort lobbies, ballroom foyers and poolside doors carry a lot of glass and a lot of handprints, and doors near pools also collect water spots and sunscreen smudges. Medical office buildings near Eisenhower Health, Desert Regional Medical Center and JFK Memorial Hospital need entry and waiting-room glass kept clear for patients.

Professional offices along Highway 111 and in Indio mostly need interior glass, partitions and entries, with office window washing on exterior elevations scheduled on a longer cycle. County administrative buildings in Indio keep their own access rules, and EBS crews work within them, drawing on the company's public-sector experience.

Summer hours and season timing

In the hottest months, exterior washing starts at first light and wraps up before the peak heat of the day, following the shade, water and rest provisions of Cal/OSHA's outdoor heat rule, Title 8 section 3395. Interior glass stays on its normal schedule. Many properties book a full exterior wash in early fall, before seasonal residents and visitors return, then shorter intervals through the busy months.

Inspection, staffing and getting started

A supervisor reviews glass during routine inspections and logs the results in eHub, and any missed pane or streak is tracked until it is redone. Backup staff cover absences so the route holds even in peak season. Window cleaning pairs with our specialty cleaning and floor and carpet care in the valley. Questions we hear

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Why are there white spots on our windows even after cleaning?

Most often they are mineral deposits from sprinklers. Irrigation water leaves minerals that bake onto glass in the sun, and routine cleaning does not always lift older spots. A dedicated mineral treatment matched to the glass type usually clears them, and adjusting the sprinkler heads keeps them from coming back.

Do you clean resort glass during guest hours?

Yes, with care for guests. Lobby and entrance glass is done early in the morning or in sections so doors stay usable, and pool-area glass is cleaned before the pool opens. Work near guest rooms is scheduled with the property so crews are not outside windows at inconvenient times.

Should we change our window schedule in summer?

Usually, yes. Exterior work moves to early mornings, and many properties stretch the interval while occupancy is lower, then book a thorough exterior wash in early fall ahead of the season. Interior glass in offices and clinics that stay open all year keeps its normal schedule.

Can storefront glass be cleaned more often in peak season?

Yes. Storefront schedules can step up for the busy months, for example from every two weeks to weekly, and drop back once the season ends. Retailers often add a pre-opening pass on entry doors during the busiest weeks, and any change is agreed in writing with your contact.
