Warehouse Cleaning Services in Rialto, CA

Distribution center cleaning for north Rialto, planned around the goods you move, the shifts you run and the dust that trucks and wind bring in.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance offers warehouse cleaning services in Rialto, CA to the regional distribution centers on the city's north side, framed by SR-210 and I-10. Crews scrub concrete floors, clean dock plates and trailer bays, sweep and scrub racking lanes, high-dust beams and upper racking, and keep restrooms, breakrooms and offices ready for each shift. The program is built around the type of goods in the building and the hours it runs, and every visit is logged.

North Rialto's distribution belt

Rialto has grown around large regional distribution centers, most of them on the north side of the city. Operators there include Target, Monster Energy, Niagara Bottling, Medline, Under Armour, Amazon and Staples, which gives a sense of the range: office supplies, general merchandise, apparel, medical supplies and beverages all pass through the same few square miles. The Cajon Pass lies close by, and SR-210 and I-10 both carry freight past the city.

Truck traffic around these buildings is constant, and the dock dust it creates is the main cleaning challenge. Seasonal Santa Ana winds add more, and hot, dry inland summers make large buildings hard places to work in the afternoon.

Cleaning for the goods in your building

What a building stores changes what its floor needs. EBS asks about product types at the walkthrough and adjusts the scope accordingly. The table gives general examples; it does not describe any particular company's facility.

Warehouse cleaning services in Rialto: the standard scope

Whatever the goods, every Rialto program draws on the same set of core tasks, with the frequency of each set to the building.

  • Machine scrubbing of concrete floors in travel lanes, aisles and staging areas
  • Dock plates, levelers and trailer bays cleared of film, banding, wood and spills
  • Racking lanes swept and scrubbed, with tire marks removed
  • Beams, top racking tiers, ducts and lights high-dusted
  • Employee restrooms, breakrooms and locker rooms cleaned and restocked by shift
  • Shipping, dispatch and administrative offices cleaned daily
  • Pressure washing of dock aprons and entry walks on a periodic schedule

Shifts, lift trucks and heat

Most distribution centers in Rialto work more than one shift, and some never fully stop. Floor scrubbing is planned for the lowest-traffic hours, and large areas are done in sections so picking and loading continue. Crews follow the facility's PPE requirements and traffic routes, confirm with the shift lead before entering active zones, and cone off wet floors until they dry.

Under Title 8 section 3396, Cal/OSHA's indoor heat illness standard, employers must take precautions in indoor workplaces once temperatures reach set thresholds. EBS saves heavy physical work for the cooler part of the day when operations allow, and its crews take water and rest breaks as the conditions require.

Scale, staffing and service logs

EBS has serviced in excess of 10 million square feet, and its biggest contract alone tops 1 million square feet; a large regional distribution center is ordinary work. A workforce of over 100 people gives EBS room to cover absences and add crews in busy seasons. Each site has its own field supervisor, and service logs and inspections live in eHub, along with each correction and when it was closed.

Rialto sites are served from our Corona office. Walkthroughs are free; phone (949) 375-3305 to set one up, and a supervisor will tour the docks and floor while you are operating, then write up the scope and price.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
How do you handle sticky floors in beverage warehouses?

With prompt spill response and wet scrubbing. Residue from damaged cases is cleaned as soon as crews find it, and affected aisles are machine-scrubbed with a suitable cleaner rather than dry-swept, which only spreads the stickiness. Frequencies are raised in the aisles where breakage is most common.

Can you provide cleaning logs for audits?

Yes. Visit logs and supervisor inspection notes are kept in eHub, showing any fix and the day it was completed. Those records can be shared with your quality or safety team for internal audits and customer visits.

Can you add crews during our busy season?

Yes. With notice, EBS can add shifts or increase the frequency of dock, lane and amenity cleaning for the busy months, then return to the normal schedule. Using people who already know your building keeps the transition smooth.

Do you work on mezzanines and pick modules?

Yes, where it is safe and permitted. Crews clean mezzanine floors, stairs and pick-module walkways under your site rules, and high-level work is only done with the right access equipment and with the area cleared of traffic below.
