Bloomington warehouse cleaning
Warehouse Cleaning Services in Bloomington, CA
Cleaning for Bloomington's newer distribution buildings, from the first post-construction clean to routine floor, dock and racking work once freight is moving.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance provides warehouse cleaning services in Bloomington, CA for distribution and logistics buildings along the I-10 corridor, including newly built facilities getting ready to open. Work ranges from a one-time turnover clean of a finished building to recurring machine scrubbing, dock cleanup, racking-lane care and high dusting once operations begin. Crews travel from our Corona office and work overnight, on weekends or between shifts.
Bloomington's shift from rural lots to distribution space
Bloomington is an unincorporated community on I-10, set between Fontana, Rialto and Colton. Parts of it are still rural, with animals kept on residential lots, but San Bernardino County has approved a run of warehouse projects here, some on land that once held homes. A Union Pacific hump yard, a classification yard on the railroad's Alhambra Subdivision, also crosses the community.
That mix shapes the cleaning job. New distribution buildings sit beside open ground, unpaved lots and rail operations, so dust arrives from more directions than it does in an established industrial park. Truck traffic around the new docks adds its own grit, and all of it ends up on warehouse floors and racking.
Turnover cleaning before the first pallet arrives
A new building is not ready for inventory the day the contractor leaves. Construction dust sits on beams and ledges, the concrete carries residue, and offices and restrooms need a full first clean. EBS handles this as project work, timed for after the final trades and before racking and equipment go in, when the floor is easiest to reach.
Racking installation creates a second round of mess: anchor drilling leaves concrete dust and assembly leaves packaging. A short follow-up pass before inventory lands is usually worth booking.
- High dusting of beams, ledges and light fixtures that can be reached safely
- Scrubbing the new concrete floor to lift construction residue
- Dock doors, levelers, bumpers and thresholds cleaned
- First clean of offices, restrooms and break rooms, including glass and fixtures
- Final sweep of dock aprons and entries

Warehouse cleaning services in Bloomington, CA once operations start
After opening, the program moves to a recurring schedule. Most sites settle on a pattern close to the one below, then adjust it once a few months of floor condition have been tracked.
| Task | Typical frequency | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Main aisle and dock-area scrubbing | Several times a week up to daily | Set by truck and forklift volume |
| Racking-lane sweeping and scrubbing | Weekly or in rotation | Lanes cleaned as they are released |
| High dusting | Periodic | Shortened if dust from nearby open ground builds quickly |
| Dock plates, levelers and thresholds | Every visit | The point where yard grit enters |
| Restrooms and break rooms | Each shift you schedule | Cleaned and restocked |
| Entry matting | Every visit | Vacuumed or swapped to limit track-in |
Dust from yards, rail operations and open ground
With a rail yard, truck courts and undeveloped land close by, dust control in Bloomington starts outside the building. Pressure washing dock aprons and entries keeps settled dirt from being driven inside, and closing dock doors between loads, where the operation allows, does more than extra indoor sweeping. Inside, high dusting on a fixed cycle keeps racking tops from turning into a store of grit that falls on product.
Many of the new buildings stand close to homes, so keeping truck entries and dock aprons free of loose debris is also part of being a considerate neighbor.
Safety, scheduling and records
Floor work is done in sections your shift lead releases, with wet areas marked and forklift lanes left alone until clear. In hot months, Cal/OSHA's indoor heat rule, Title 8 section 3396, is factored into when the heaviest scrubbing happens. Supervisors inspect each site and log findings, corrective actions and finished periodic tasks in eHub, and backup staff fill in for absences. With more than 10 million square feet serviced, EBS treats large single-tenant buildings as routine.

Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsCan you clean a new warehouse before we move in?
Yes. Post-construction turnover is handled as project work: high dusting, floor scrubbing, dock cleanup and a first clean of offices and restrooms, scheduled after the trades finish and ideally before racking is installed.
Should the floor be cleaned again after racking goes in?
Usually, yes. Drilling anchors and assembling racking leaves concrete dust and packaging behind. A short second pass before inventory arrives is easier than chasing that dust through the first weeks of operation.
Do you serve warehouses near Bloomington as well?
Yes. Bloomington is part of EBS's San Bernardino County coverage along with nearby Fontana, Rialto and Colton, and Jurupa Valley sits just across the line in Riverside County. All crews are sent from the Corona office.
How is the work documented?
Supervisors record inspections in eHub, including anything that needed correcting and the date it was fixed. Periodic tasks such as high dusting are logged when completed, giving your safety lead a record to share with corporate or audit teams.
