Office Cleaning Services in El Segundo, CA

Cleaning for the parts of an office that employees and visitors actually notice, scheduled around badge access, alarms and hybrid workweeks.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides office cleaning services in El Segundo, CA for corporate headquarters, engineering and program offices tied to the aerospace sector, and smaller suites in converted light-industrial buildings. Crews clean workstations, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms and glass, sort recycling and organics to your hauler's rules, and work within your access and confidentiality procedures. Team members are trained, uniformed and background-checked, and they travel from our Corona office.

El Segundo's office market, from headquarters floors to Smoky Hollow suites

Office space in El Segundo serves a few distinct kinds of tenant. Corporate headquarters, including Mattel, the Los Angeles Times, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Stamps.com, run large single-company offices. The aerospace and defense presence, with Boeing, RTX, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and The Aerospace Corporation all here, brings engineering and program offices. The LA Kings and LA Chargers have their headquarters in the city as well.

Smaller companies, including hard-tech and space startups, lease space in the Smoky Hollow district, where a few desks often sit beside a workshop. Those offices need the same tenant-facing care as a corporate floor, just at a different scale and often on fewer nights.

Desks, meeting rooms and kitchens: the details tenants judge

Office tenants judge a cleaning program by a short list of things they touch every day. These are the items the scope covers in detail.

  • Workstations: trash and recycling emptied, cleared desk surfaces dusted, keyboards and phones left alone unless the scope says otherwise
  • Hot desks and shared benches: wiped and disinfected on a set schedule
  • Conference rooms: tables wiped, chairs pushed in, whiteboards cleaned, screens dusted with a dry cloth
  • Kitchens and breakrooms: counters, sinks, microwaves, coffee stations and tables cleaned, with refrigerators emptied on an agreed day
  • Restrooms: cleaned, disinfected and restocked every visit
  • Glass: interior partitions, doors and sidelights spotted nightly, with full glass cleaning on a periodic schedule
  • Reception: front desk, seating and entry mats ready for the first visitor of the day

Recycling and organics under SB 1383

California's SB 1383 organic waste law requires businesses to separate organic waste, such as food scraps, from trash. In an office that usually means a separate organics bin in each kitchen and breakroom. EBS crews empty trash, recycling and organics into the correct containers, follow the color scheme your hauler or building uses, and flag contamination they see so it can be fixed with tenants rather than ignored.

Office cleaning services in El Segundo, CA after hours: keys, alarms and confidential areas

Most offices are cleaned after tenants leave, which means the crew handles keys, badges and alarm codes. EBS keeps track of who holds each credential, follows the building's arming and disarming procedure, and reports any door found unlocked. In defense-related offices, restricted rooms are listed in the scope as escort-only or no-entry, and the crew stays out of them unless those conditions are met.

Confidential paper is a concern for program offices and headquarters alike. Crews do not move papers on desks, empty only the bins they are told to, and leave locked shred consoles to your shredding vendor. Work in government buildings and other access-controlled sites is part of EBS's background.

Hybrid workweeks and daytime add-ons

Many El Segundo offices are full on some weekdays and half-empty on others. The program can follow that pattern, with full cleaning after the busy days and lighter service after quiet ones, rather than repeating the same full clean every night. When busy days strain restrooms and kitchens, a day porter can cover the middle of the day.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Do your cleaners touch items on our desks?

Only if you want them to. The standard approach is to dust and wipe cleared desk surfaces and leave papers, monitors and personal items alone. If your office uses a clean-desk policy or hot desking, the scope can include wiping and disinfecting every desk surface on set nights.

Can you clean conference rooms during the workday?

Yes, through daytime service or a day porter. Rooms can be reset between meetings, with tables wiped, trash removed and whiteboards cleaned, while the full clean is still done after hours. This works well for offices that host clients or run back-to-back meetings.

How do you handle offices with restricted rooms?

Restricted rooms are named in the scope and marked as escort-only or no-entry. Crews follow those markings, and supervisors check that the rules are being followed during inspections. EBS team members are background-checked and trained to respect confidential areas, and changes to the list are made in writing.

Can you work with our recycling and organics bins?

Yes. Crews sort trash, recycling and organics into the containers your building or hauler provides, in line with SB 1383 organics separation, and report contamination they see so you can address it with tenants or update the signage. Liners are changed on the schedule set in the scope.

Who do we contact when something is missed?

Your field supervisor. The issue is logged as a corrective action in eHub, fixed, and closed out in the record, so you can see it was handled. Urgent problems during the day or night can go through EBS's 24/7 priority support.
