El Segundo janitorial

Janitorial Services in El Segundo, CA

A recurring janitorial program for El Segundo buildings, with a written frequency plan, a dedicated crew and supervisors who check the work.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance runs recurring janitorial services in El Segundo, CA for headquarters offices, aerospace and defense buildings, and smaller light-industrial and startup spaces. Each program spells out what is cleaned every visit, weekly and periodically, assigns a consistent crew, and is checked by supervisors who log inspections and corrective actions in eHub. Backup staff cover absences, and crews travel from our Corona office on daytime, evening, overnight or weekend schedules.

How often each area is cleaned

A janitorial program is a frequency plan as much as a task list. This is a typical starting point for an El Segundo office building; the walkthrough then adjusts it to your traffic, tenants and budget.

Adjusting janitorial services in El Segundo, CA to the building

Headquarters offices. The corporate buildings in El Segundo, home to companies such as Mattel and the Los Angeles Times, tend to have executive suites, large kitchens and busy conference floors. Those programs put more hours into meeting rooms and kitchens, and floor care is scheduled around board meetings and company events.

Aerospace and defense buildings. Offices and engineering space connected to the city's aerospace and defense employers often include rooms that are cleaned only with an escort, or not at all. The scope names those rooms, and supervisors confirm the rules are followed during inspections.

Smoky Hollow startups. Small hard-tech and space companies often share one building between a shop floor and a handful of desks. Their program may run three nights a week rather than five, with shop-floor sweeping and break area cleaning added, and it can expand as the team grows.

Who checks the work

Each El Segundo account has a field supervisor who visits on a routine schedule and walks the building against the written scope. Findings go into eHub, the inspection system EBS uses, so there is a record of what passed, what was flagged and when the corrective action was finished. The supervisor goes over those results with your facility contact.

When a regular cleaner is out, backup staffing covers the shift and the supervisor confirms the building was done. Escalation support and 24/7 priority support are there for problems that cannot wait until the next scheduled clean, such as a leak or a restroom out of service before a client visit.

Janitorial work inside secured buildings

With Los Angeles Air Force Base in the city and several defense contractors nearby, a share of El Segundo buildings run strict access control. EBS has experience in high-security and government facilities and builds the program around each site's rules: who holds keys, which doors are badged, which rooms need an escort and where paper must not be touched. Team members are trained, vetted, uniformed and background-checked, and the same crew stays on the building so security staff see familiar faces.

Changing from your current janitorial company

Most new accounts are replacing an existing janitorial company. The changeover starts with a walkthrough and a written scope, then a start date that leaves time for keys, badges, alarm codes and supply stocking. The crew is introduced to your building contact, and the supervisor inspects closely while the crew learns the building.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
What does a nightly janitorial visit include?

A nightly visit usually covers trash and recycling, restroom cleaning and restocking, breakroom and kitchen surfaces, touchpoint disinfection with EPA-approved products, and vacuuming or mopping by floor type. Weekly and periodic tasks are scheduled separately so the nightly work stays consistent from one visit to the next.

Can janitorial staff work during the day in a secured building?

Yes, if the site allows it. Daytime schedules are available, and in access-controlled buildings the crew follows the same badge and escort rules it would at night. Some El Segundo buildings split the work into a daytime restroom and kitchen pass and a full clean after hours.

Are green or non-toxic products an option for our El Segundo building?

Yes. Non-toxic, biodegradable green products are available on request for any program. Where disinfection is part of the scope, such as restroom fixtures and shared touchpoints, EPA-approved disinfectants are still used on those surfaces. The product list for your building is agreed at the walkthrough.

How is janitorial quality tracked?

Through routine supervisor inspections recorded in eHub. Each inspection notes what was checked and any issue found, and the corrective action is logged once it is fixed, so the building has a documented history rather than a verbal assurance that the work was done.

Will we have the same cleaners every night?

That is the aim. EBS assigns a consistent crew to each building wherever possible, because a crew that knows the space, the tenants and the alarm procedures does better work. When someone is out, backup staff cover the shift under the same supervisor.
