Manufacturing Facility Cleaning in Orange County
Orange County plants tend toward precision work, where a static-safe floor, a gowning room or one stray fastener can matter as much as a clean restroom.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance provides manufacturing facility cleaning in Orange County for aerospace, medical device, electronics and light-industrial plants. Crews control dust, maintain production and shipping floors, clean around equipment, and keep restrooms, break rooms and front offices ready for customer visits. Each program is written around the plant's own controls, such as static-dissipative floors or gowned areas, and runs between shifts, overnight or on weekends, with teams sent from EBS's Corona office.
Where Orange County's plants are concentrated
Manufacturing here is spread across a handful of districts rather than one industrial belt, and each district has a different mix of buildings. The table below shows how EBS reads the county when it plans crew routes, equipment and staffing.
| District | Typical plants | Cleaning emphasis |
|---|---|---|
| Anaheim Canyon (north of SR-91, east of SR-57) | Described as the county's largest industrial district; industrial and tech space | Production floors, high dusting, shipping docks |
| Huntington Beach (Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Gateway, Research and Technology Corridor) | Aerospace and general manufacturing | Foreign object debris control, shop floors |
| Irvine Spectrum and Irvine | Semiconductor, medical device and technology companies | Controlled rooms, labs, office-grade finishes |
| Lake Forest and Foothill Ranch (Bake Parkway) | R&D, aerospace, electronics, consumer products, eye-care research | Flex buildings with offices and production |
| Costa Mesa southwest side | Electronics, pharmaceutical and plastics firms | Dust from molding and assembly, documented cleaning |
| Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente (Talega), Aliso Viejo | Medical device makers in business parks | Gowning areas, cleaning logs |
Manufacturing facility cleaning in Orange County, by production type
Medical device makers work under FDA's 21 CFR Part 820, which expects documented control of the work environment wherever it can affect the product. For those plants, cleaning is part of the quality record: crews follow your gowning and material-transfer steps, clean in the order your procedure sets, and complete logs and service reports. EBS runs cleanroom programs aligned with ISO 14644 classes and GMP practice.
Electronics and semiconductor assembly often runs on static-dissipative or conductive flooring, governed by ESD control programs such as ANSI/ESD S20.20. Standard floor finish can raise a floor's resistance, so only cleaners and coatings the flooring maker approves are used, and the scope says so in writing.
Aerospace work in Huntington Beach, Garden Grove and Seal Beach tends to fall under AS9100 quality systems, which treat loose hardware, wire clippings and packaging scraps as foreign object debris. Crews sweep and vacuum assembly areas to the plant's FOD rules and keep their own carts and tools accounted for.

One building, two standards: the front office and the plant
A large share of Orange County manufacturing happens in business-park flex buildings, where a finished lobby, conference rooms and engineering offices share a roof with production and shipping. The office side gets office-grade care: vacuuming, glass, restrooms and kitchen sanitation. The plant side gets scrubbers, degreasers and high dusting.
Keeping the two apart matters. Walk-off matting goes at every door between them, mops and cloths are color-coded so plant tools never reach the office, and the door between the floor and the lobby is the first thing checked on each visit. Customers who tour the plant see both sides, so both are inspected.
Shifts, schedules and getting started
R&D and medical device plants in Irvine and South County often run a single day shift, so cleaning lands in the evening. Aerospace and contract manufacturers may run two or three shifts, which calls for zone cleaning while lines run and heavier work on weekends. EBS keeps a consistent team on each site, covers absences with backup staff and records supervisor inspections in its eHub system.
Teams travel from EBS's only office, in Corona, which sits on SR-91 with a direct run west to Anaheim Canyon and North County. Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsCan you clean an ESD-protected assembly area?
Yes. The scope names the flooring and the cleaners its maker approves, and crews use only those products on static-dissipative or conductive floors. Ordinary finishes and some general cleaners leave a film that raises resistance, so they are kept off ESD floors entirely. If your ESD coordinator tests floors on a schedule, cleaning can be timed before those checks.
Do you clean medical device cleanrooms in Orange County?
Yes. EBS cleanroom programs are aligned with ISO and GMP practice and follow your gowning, material-transfer and cleaning-sequence procedures. Crews complete cleaning logs and service reports on each visit so your quality team has records ready for internal audits and FDA inspections.
How do your crews avoid leaving foreign object debris?
They follow the plant's FOD rules and keep their own equipment controlled. Carts are checked in and out of assembly areas, small items such as bag ties and spray-bottle caps stay off the floor, and sweeping and vacuuming focus on the hardware and scraps that production leaves behind. Supervisors check FOD-sensitive areas during inspections.
Do you serve plants in South County business parks?
Yes. South Orange County is part of EBS's coverage, including Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, Aliso Viejo and San Clemente. Business-park plants there are usually scheduled in the evening after a day shift, with weekend visits for floor scrubbing and high dusting.
