Anaheim warehouse cleaning

Warehouse Cleaning Services in Anaheim, CA

Industrial cleaning for Anaheim Canyon and the city's freeway-side warehouses, planned around shifts, forklift traffic and the dust that freight brings in.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides warehouse cleaning services in Anaheim, CA for distribution, manufacturing and light-industrial buildings, including the Anaheim Canyon district. Crews machine-scrub concrete floors, clear docks and bays, clean racking lanes, high-dust beams and ledges, and keep restrooms and break areas ready for each shift. Work is scheduled overnight, on weekends or between shifts, and every visit is logged so your safety lead can see what was done.

Anaheim Canyon and the city's industrial base

Much of Anaheim's industrial space sits in Anaheim Canyon, the district north of SR-91 and east of SR-57 along La Palma Avenue. It is governed by the Anaheim Canyon Specific Plan, served by the Anaheim Canyon Metrolink station, and often described as the largest industrial district in Orange County. Alongside warehouses and manufacturers, it holds much of the city's tech space.

With I-5, SR-91, SR-57 and SR-55 all running through or beside the city, trucks move in and out of these buildings all day. Every open dock door lets in road dust, and every pallet and tire adds debris to the floor. That fine dust settles on racking and beams, gets ground into concrete by forklift wheels, and drifts into offices and break areas if it is not controlled.

Warehouse cleaning services in Anaheim: what is covered

A warehouse program is built from a few core tasks, each set to its own frequency after the walkthrough.

  • Machine scrubbing of sealed and unsealed concrete floors, including tire-mark and residue removal
  • Dock and bay cleaning: debris, shrink wrap, spills and build-up cleared from dock plates and staging lanes
  • Racking lanes swept and scrubbed so pallets and pickers move on a clean surface
  • High dusting of racking, beams, ledges and light fixtures so dust does not fall on product
  • Restrooms and break rooms cleaned and restocked for every shift
  • Office, entry and corridor cleaning to stop warehouse dust spreading into front-of-house areas
  • Trash and recycling removal, with cardboard handled the way your site sorts it

Cleaning while forklifts are running

Plenty of distribution buildings never fully stop. EBS schedules floor scrubbing for overnight hours, weekends or the gap between shifts, and works aisle by aisle so pick paths stay open. Crews follow your traffic rules, use cones and wet-floor signs, and stay out of active forklift lanes unless the area has been released by your supervisor.

Housekeeping is also a safety matter: shrink wrap, broken pallet pieces and spills on walking surfaces are common causes of slips and trips. Heat is the other concern. Title 8 section 3396, Cal/OSHA's indoor heat illness rule, applies to indoor workplaces that get hot, which includes many warehouses in summer. EBS plans the heaviest physical work, such as scrubbing large areas, for cooler hours where the schedule allows.

Tech and light-industrial space with lower dust tolerance

Because Anaheim Canyon mixes warehouses with tech and assembly space, some buildings have areas where dust matters more than usual: electronics assembly, testing rooms or controlled storage. Those zones can be cleaned with HEPA-filter vacuums and lint-free methods on a separate checklist, and fully controlled rooms can be put on an ISO and GMP aligned cleanroom program with cleaning logs for audits.

Large footprints and documented completion

EBS has serviced more than 10 million square feet, including over 1 million square feet under a single contract, so large distribution buildings and multi-building campuses are familiar work. Each program has a field supervisor, routine and unannounced inspections, and service logs recorded in eHub with any corrective action and its completion date. Backup staffing covers absences.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
How often should a warehouse floor be machine-scrubbed?

It depends on traffic, the type of goods and how much dust comes in through the docks. Busy distribution floors may need scrubbing several times a week in the main lanes, while quieter storage areas can go longer. EBS recommends a frequency after the walkthrough and adjusts it once the floor's condition is tracked.

Can you clean without shutting down our operation?

Yes. Most warehouse work is done overnight, on weekends or between shifts, and large areas are cleaned in sections so the rest of the building keeps running. Crews coordinate with your shift lead before entering any aisle that has forklift activity.

Do you do high dusting on racking?

Yes. High dusting of racking, beams, ledges and fixtures is part of the warehouse scope. It keeps settled dust from falling onto product and reduces what is carried back down to the floor. It is usually scheduled periodically, with the frequency set by how quickly dust builds up.

Can one program cover our warehouse and our offices?

Yes. Many sites combine a warehouse scope for the floor and docks with a janitorial scope for offices, restrooms and break rooms. Both run under one supervisor and one inspection record, and each part is scheduled to suit the people who use it.
