Government Facility Cleaning in Riverside County

Cleaning for civic offices, public campuses and federal workplaces in the county where our only office sits, planned for inland heat, dust and strict access rules.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides government facility cleaning in Riverside County for civic offices, public college buildings, city halls and federal workplaces from Riverside to Temecula. Our only office is in Corona, in the western part of the county, and crews are background-checked, uniformed and assigned to the same buildings wherever possible. Programs account for long, hot summers, dust from freeway and logistics corridors, and access rules that differ from one agency to the next.

Public buildings in the county we work from

Downtown Riverside is the county seat and holds the main concentration of county offices, alongside the University of California, Riverside and city government. Our office in Corona is a short trip down SR-91, and the Navy's Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division sits just north in Norco, one of several federal workplaces in western Riverside County with its own contractor vetting. Farther east and south, the public footprint follows the county's growth along I-215 and I-15.

Inland heat, dust and buildings that cool down at night

Summers here are long and hot, and many public buildings set back their air conditioning after hours, which is exactly when cleaning crews work. Cal/OSHA's indoor heat rule, Title 8 section 3396, applies once an indoor work area reaches 82 degrees Fahrenheit with employees present, and section 3395 covers outdoor tasks such as sweeping entries or pressure washing a plaza. We agree HVAC settings with the facility during the walkthrough and move exterior work to the cooler hours.

Truck traffic and construction along SR-60, I-215 and I-15 put fine dust into the air, and it settles on vents, sills and lobby floors. Programs in these buildings lean on well-kept entry mats, more frequent high dusting and scheduled floor scrubbing so grit does not grind into finishes.

Government facility cleaning in Riverside County: the start-up plan

A new program begins with a walkthrough of the building with your facility contact, covering public areas, offices, restricted rooms and the security procedures for each. From that, EBS writes a scope, a schedule and a staffing plan, and lists which rooms are off limits or require an escort. Keys, badges and alarm codes are signed for individually, and the roster is shared with the agency.

If another vendor is leaving, the switch is planned around their last night so the building is not left uncleaned, and any agency badging is completed before the first shift. In the first weeks, supervisors inspect more often and log what they find in eHub, so corrections happen while the crew is still learning the building.

Accountability an agency can check

Public contracts are judged on records as much as results. Each inspection a supervisor completes is logged in eHub with the items checked, anything that fell short and the corrective action taken, and that history is available to the facility contact. Backup staffing covers absences, an escalation path reaches the account supervisor, and 24/7 priority support handles urgent problems such as a burst pipe in a public restroom. Behind that sit more than 25 years of commercial cleaning work and a staff of over 100.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Is EBS based in Riverside County?

Yes. Our only office is in Corona, in western Riverside County, and crews travel from there to public buildings across the county and the rest of our service area.

Do your government facility cleaning services in Riverside County cover small city halls?

Yes. The scope is sized to the building, so a small city hall with one public counter and a large multi-floor office complex each get a program built from their own walkthrough, not a fixed package.

How do you protect cleaners in buildings that get hot after hours?

By agreeing HVAC settings with the facility before service starts, scheduling outdoor tasks for cooler hours and following Cal/OSHA's heat rules for indoor and outdoor work. Supervisors check conditions during inspections, especially in summer.

Do you offer government facility cleaning in the Inland Empire beyond Riverside County?

Yes. EBS serves public buildings in both Riverside County and San Bernardino County. The San Bernardino County page covers that county's civic centers, institutions and High Desert sites.

What do public building janitorial services in Riverside County usually include?

Nightly cleaning of lobbies, offices, restrooms and breakrooms, separated trash, recycling and organics, and disinfection of high-touch surfaces with EPA-approved products. Floor care, carpet extraction and exterior pressure washing are scheduled as periodic work, and a day porter is available for busy public counters.
