Disinfection Services in Los Angeles County

Touchpoint, restroom and electrostatic disinfection for public buildings, towers, medical offices, campuses and event venues across the county.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides disinfection services in Los Angeles County for government and civic buildings, office towers, medical offices, college campuses and event venues, treating touchpoints, restrooms and shared spaces with EPA-approved products on a set schedule or on call. EBS has public-sector and secure-facility experience, so crews work within the screening, badge and escort rules that many of these buildings enforce.

Where shared surfaces see the most hands

Los Angeles County's high-contact buildings fall into a few groups. Each one has its own set of surfaces that matter most.

Disinfection services in Los Angeles County public buildings

Public buildings combine heavy foot traffic with strict access control. The Civic Center's city, county, state and federal offices, the Van Nuys Government Center, the county Registrar-Recorder offices in Norwalk and the Pomona Civic Center all see residents at counters and in waiting areas through the day, and they restrict who can be in the building after hours.

EBS has cleaned government and secure facilities and follows each building's screening and escort procedures. Team members are background-checked and in uniform, and disinfection of counters, kiosks, restrooms and waiting areas is scheduled for the hours the building allows, often overnight.

Matching the product to the problem

Every EPA-registered disinfectant carries a registration number and a list of the organisms it has been tested against. Not every product covers every pathogen: norovirus, for example, needs a product whose label specifically claims it. When a building reports a particular illness, EBS checks the product against that organism before treating, and uses products on EPA List N where coronavirus claims matter.

Contact time is the other half. Toilets, sinks, partitions and fixtures are disinfected with attention to both coverage and the label's wet time, and food-contact surfaces in breakrooms are rinsed when the label requires it.

Electrostatic disinfection for venues and campuses

Charged spray droplets wrap around seat backs, railings and equipment that are slow to wipe by hand, which makes electrostatic application practical for arenas, lecture halls, gyms and large training rooms. It is applied with the space empty, usually overnight or between events, and touch-heavy items such as door hardware and counters are still wiped by hand.

Event days follow a before-and-after pattern: restrooms, rails and concession counters are disinfected before doors open and again once the crowd has left.

Records, supervision and travel from Corona

Supervisors check disinfection work during routine inspections in EBS's eHub system, and completed tasks are documented so you can show tenants, staff or inspectors what was done. Backup staffing covers absences, and 24/7 priority support takes urgent requests. EBS has one office, in Corona, and sends crews across Downtown, the Westside, the South Bay, Southeast Los Angeles and both valleys. Request a walkthrough or call (949) 375-3305.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
What is the difference between sanitizing and disinfecting?

Sanitizing reduces bacteria on a surface to a level considered safe, while disinfecting kills the bacteria and viruses named on the product label when it is used at the stated contact time. Restrooms and high-touch surfaces are disinfected; some food-contact surfaces are sanitized, following the label.

Can you disinfect between events at a venue?

Yes. Event prep and post-event cleaning are part of EBS's specialty work. Restrooms, handrails, seating areas and concession counters are disinfected before doors open and after the crowd leaves, with electrostatic application for large seating areas when the venue wants it.

Do you offer office disinfection for tenants in Century City or Downtown towers?

Yes. Tenant suites can add touchpoint disinfection of desks, phones, conference rooms and breakrooms to their regular cleaning, or book periodic electrostatic treatment. Work follows the building's after-hours access and freight elevator rules, and is coordinated with the property's own janitorial vendor where there is one.

How do you handle a reported norovirus case?

With a product whose label claims norovirus, applied at the label's contact time. The crew cleans and disinfects restrooms, door hardware, breakrooms and the areas the affected person used, then widens the treatment to shared spaces. Your facility contact receives a record of what was treated.
