Victorville warehouse cleaning

Warehouse Cleaning Services in Victorville, CA

Industrial cleaning for Victorville distribution buildings and hangar space, built to deal with wind-driven sand, desert temperature swings and long shifts.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides warehouse cleaning services in Victorville, CA for distribution centers, logistics buildings and aviation hangar space around Southern California Logistics Airport and along I-15 and US-395. Crews machine-scrub floors, clear docks and bays, clean racking lanes, high-dust structure and fixtures, and keep restrooms and break areas ready for each shift. Programs are scheduled around your operations and documented by a field supervisor.

Logistics and aviation at the former George Air Force Base

Much of Victorville's industrial activity centers on Southern California Logistics Airport. The old George Air Force Base site now serves business, military and freight flights, and it has hangars used for aircraft storage and maintenance. The Southern California Logistics Center next door provides warehouse and distribution space, and I-15 and US-395 carry the trucks that serve it. That traffic and the open desert around the airport decide most of what a cleaning program here must handle.

Wind-driven sand and the warehouse floor

High Desert wind keeps fine sand and dust on the move, and a warehouse with dock doors open all day takes in its share. Sand on sealed concrete is abrasive: forklift tires grind it into the surface, wearing the sealer and dulling floor markings. It also drifts into corners, behind racking and onto beams.

The answer is to remove grit dry before anything goes wet. Floors are swept or dust-mopped ahead of machine scrubbing so the scrubber is not pushing sand around, corners and racking bases get their own sweep, and dock thresholds are cleared every visit. On high-wind days a supervisor may move dock work to a later shift rather than clean a dock that will be coated again within the hour.

Warehouse cleaning services in Victorville, CA: the regular scope

Frequencies are set at the walkthrough and adjusted once floor condition has been tracked for a few weeks. The scope normally includes:

  • Dry sweeping and dust mopping of aisles and staging areas before scrubbing
  • Machine scrubbing of concrete floors, with tire marks and spills lifted
  • Dock plates, levelers, thresholds and bay floors cleared of sand, debris and wrap
  • Racking lanes and bases swept and scrubbed in rotation
  • High dusting of beams, racking tops, ledges and light fixtures
  • Restrooms, locker rooms and break rooms cleaned and restocked for every shift
  • Shipping and receiving offices cleaned to a janitorial checklist

Hangar floors and aviation tenants

Hangars add requirements of their own. Maintenance work leaves drips of oil and hydraulic fluid that need degreasing, and loose debris on a hangar floor counts as foreign object debris (FOD), which can damage an aircraft if an engine or tire picks it up. Hangar cleaning therefore centers on careful sweeping and inspection of the floor, spot degreasing, and scrubbing where the operator allows wet work.

Crews work only in areas the operator releases, keep clear of aircraft unless told otherwise, and follow the operator's rules on equipment and access.

Hot summers, cold winters

Victorville summers are very hot, and Title 8 section 3396, the Cal/OSHA rule on indoor heat, kicks in once a building crosses the temperature triggers it defines. Heavy scrubbing and high dusting go to cooler hours where the operation allows. Winter brings the opposite problem: unheated buildings dry slowly after wet cleaning, and water left near an open dock door can freeze, so cold-month wet work is planned to leave floors dry before traffic returns.

Large footprints, documented work

Over 10 million square feet have been serviced by EBS, and one contract alone covers more than 1 million, so large distribution buildings sit within normal capacity. A field supervisor inspects each site and records findings, corrective actions and completed periodic tasks in eHub, and backup staff are assigned when someone is out.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Do you clean aircraft hangars?

Yes, the hangar floor and the support spaces around it: offices, crew rooms, restrooms and break areas. Floors are swept for foreign object debris, spot-degreased and scrubbed where the operator permits. The aircraft and maintenance equipment are outside the cleaning scope.

How do you keep sand from scratching the floor?

By taking it up dry first. Sweeping or dust mopping before scrubbing keeps grit from being dragged across the concrete, and clean dock thresholds and entry mats limit how much gets in. Floors in exposed buildings may also need periodic resealing as part of floor care.

Can cleaning go on while freight is moving?

Yes, in released sections. Crews coordinate with your shift lead, mark wet areas and stay out of active forklift lanes. Big jobs such as full-floor scrubbing are best scheduled for low-volume shifts or weekends.

Are your crews prepared for industrial sites?

Before starting, crews are trained on the site's scope and safety rules, including forklift traffic patterns, required PPE and restricted areas. All of them have passed background checks and wear EBS uniforms, and the company carries licensing and insurance.
