Riverside janitorial

Janitorial Services in Riverside, CA

Recurring custodial programs for Riverside buildings, from multi-tenant offices downtown to front offices in the industrial parks, with every inspection on record.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides janitorial services in Riverside, CA on a recurring schedule for multi-tenant offices, public-facing buildings, light-industrial plants, retail tenants and medical suites. Each building gets a written checklist by area and frequency, and crews clean in the evening, overnight, during the day or on weekends. A field supervisor inspects the work, logs it in eHub and tracks any corrective action until it is closed.

Janitorial services in Riverside: the nightly scope

The nightly scope is the backbone of the program. It is the same list every visit, so tenants and staff know what to expect each morning:

  • Restrooms cleaned and disinfected, with soap, paper and liners restocked
  • Trash, recycling and organics collected and taken to the building's containers
  • Breakroom sinks, counters, tables and appliance fronts wiped
  • Public counters, door push plates, elevator buttons and handrails disinfected
  • Entry mats vacuumed and lobby floors cleaned
  • Carpets vacuumed in traffic lanes and hard floors damp-mopped

Programs for Riverside's building types

Multi-tenant offices downtown, around the Main Street Pedestrian Mall, often house tenants with different hours on different floors. The program works floor by floor, cleans shared restrooms and elevator lobbies every night, and leaves suites where people work late until the agreed time.

Public-facing buildings in the county seat take heavy daily use at counters, waiting areas and restrooms. Nightly disinfection of counters and seating matters more here than in a private office, and crews work within the building's badge and screening rules.

Front offices and breakrooms in the Hunter and Sycamore Canyon industrial parks serve production and warehouse staff. Breakrooms and locker areas see heavy use across shifts, so restocking is planned around shift changes rather than office hours.

Offices and classrooms near UC Riverside and California Baptist University follow the academic calendar, with heavier work saved for breaks. Retail tenants at the Galleria at Tyler and Riverside Plaza usually want their stores cleaned before opening.

What the supervisor checks

Inspections are how you know the checklist is being followed when nobody from your team is in the building at night. Supervisors walk each Riverside account on a routine schedule and record the results in eHub.

Moving from your current custodial provider

Most new accounts come to us from another provider. The changeover starts with a walkthrough where you tell us what has gone wrong before, and the scope is written to address it. The first night is timed to the end of your current vendor's notice, so the building is never without service.

Keys, badges and alarm codes are issued to named team members and recorded. During the first weeks, the supervisor inspects more often and reviews results with your contact, and backup staffing is in place from day one so an absence does not mean a missed night.

Questions we hear

Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
How often should restrooms in a busy public building be cleaned?

At least once a day with a full clean and disinfection, and more often where traffic is heavy. Buildings with public counters or waiting areas often add a daytime porter to restock and refresh restrooms between the nightly cleans. The walkthrough looks at visitor numbers and sets the frequency.

Can the crew work around tenants who stay late?

Yes. The scope lists each suite's usual hours, and crews start in common areas and empty suites, returning to occupied offices later in the shift. Tenants with regular late nights can have their suite cleaned on a different schedule.

Can deep cleaning be scheduled for when students are away?

Yes. Offices and classrooms near the universities can save carpet extraction, floor refinishing and high dusting for academic breaks, when rooms are empty and the work does not disrupt anyone. The regular nightly scope continues during term.

What if we are unhappy with a night's cleaning?

Tell your supervisor, by phone or email. The issue is logged in eHub, corrected and checked at the next inspection, and repeated problems lead to a scope or crew review. 24/7 priority support is available for urgent problems that cannot wait until morning.

Can our building use green cleaning products?

Yes. Non-toxic, biodegradable green cleaning products are available on request for any Riverside program, and the scope records which products are used where. EPA-approved disinfectants are still used on high-touch surfaces where disinfection is required.
