Energy and Utility Facility Cleaning in Riverside County
Water agency offices, utility yards and plant support buildings across western, central and southwest Riverside County, served from EBS's home base in Corona.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance runs energy and utility facility cleaning in Riverside County from its own office in Corona, covering water agency buildings, utility service yards and plant support space from Jurupa Valley to Temecula. Crews clean operator and admin buildings, locker rooms, shops and lunchrooms to each site's safety rules, and summer schedules account for inland heat. Every site gets documented supervisor inspections and corrective actions.
A short drive from the Corona office
Corona sits where I-15, SR-91 and SR-71 meet, and EBS's only office is there, on Wardlow Circle. For utility sites in western Riverside County that means short trips for crews and supervisors, which helps when a site wants an extra visit before an inspection or a change to the scope. Riverside, Norco, Eastvale and Jurupa Valley are all close by along I-15 and SR-60.
Further out, crews follow I-215 to Moreno Valley, Perris and Menifee, I-15 south to Lake Elsinore, Murrieta and Temecula, and SR-60 east to Beaumont at the top of the San Gorgonio Pass.
Energy and utility facility cleaning in Riverside County: the buildings involved
Utility sites here share the I-15 and I-215 corridors with logistics parks such as the Mira Loma Industrial complex and the Perris Valley Commerce Center. Most scopes combine several of these spaces under one contract.
- Water agency headquarters, customer lobbies and board rooms
- Treatment plant operator buildings, labs and locker rooms
- Electric and gas utility service centers, warehouses and fleet shops
- Control and dispatch rooms staffed around the clock
- Contractor trailers and temporary breakrooms during capital projects

Heat, dust and wind in the inland valleys
Summer in Perris, Moreno Valley, Hemet and Beaumont runs far hotter than on the coast, and utility yards offer little shade. Cal/OSHA's outdoor heat rule (Title 8 section 3395) calls for water, shade and rest, and section 3396 reaches hot indoor spaces such as pump houses and warehouses without cooling. EBS moves pressure washing and yard-side entry work to early morning in the hottest months.
Dry months and wind events push fine dust into lobbies, control rooms and electrical rooms. HEPA-filtered vacuums, damp microfiber and longer entry matting keep it from settling on equipment, and high dusting is scheduled more often through late summer and fall.
Mixing shifts for operations and office sides
A utility campus often has two clocks: dispatch and control rooms that run 24 hours, and an admin wing that keeps business hours and closes on weekends. EBS covers both with one plan, typically an early-morning or overnight crew for the operations side, an evening crew for offices, and weekend visits for carpet extraction or floor refinishing while the admin wing is empty.
Sick days are covered by backup staffing, and the 24/7 priority line handles urgent problems, such as a burst supply line in a locker room, without waiting for the next scheduled visit.
Utility building janitorial with a paper trail
Many water agencies are public bodies answering to an elected board, so they want proof that the contract scope is met. Supervisors inspect each site in EBS's eHub system, logging findings, the fix and the date it closed, and they stay in direct contact with the site's facility lead.
Each cleaner is screened and background-checked before assignment, trained for the site and in uniform, and EBS carries a license and insurance. Where a site has restricted rooms, the scope lists where crews may go alone, where they need an escort and where they never enter.

Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsIs EBS based in Riverside County?
Yes. The company's single office is in Corona, at 2280 Wardlow Circle, Suite 220. Teams travel from there to sites across western, central and southwest Riverside County and the rest of Southern California.
Do you cover utility sites in Temecula, Murrieta and Menifee?
Yes. Southwest Riverside County, including Temecula, Murrieta, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and French Valley, is part of the service area, reached from Corona along I-15 and I-215.
How do you protect cleaners working in summer heat?
By following Cal/OSHA's heat rules for outdoor and indoor work, which means water, shade, rest and cool-down breaks, and by booking exterior jobs for the cooler early hours. Warehouses and shops without cooling get the same planning.
Can pressure washing or floor refinishing be added to a utility contract?
Yes. EBS has capacity for floor care, carpet, glass, pressure washing and project work, so entries, truck bays, shop floors and office carpet can go on a periodic calendar alongside the routine clean.
What do you need from us before starting?
A walkthrough, the site's orientation requirements, its PPE rules, access and escort procedures and any approved-chemical list. With those in hand, EBS writes the scope and schedule and sends a price.
