Data Center Cleaning in San Diego County

Server room and IT space cleaning for San Diego County's research corridors, corporate campuses and defense-linked technology sites.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides data center cleaning in San Diego County for server rooms, network closets and IT spaces on technology, biotech and defense-related campuses in Sorrento Valley, Sorrento Mesa, Kearny Mesa, University City, Rancho Bernardo and Carlsbad. Crews use HEPA and anti-static methods, keep lab and IT cleaning separate so nothing crosses between zones, and work within escort and clean-desk rules. Supervisors inspect and log every visit.

Data center cleaning in San Diego County's research and tech corridors

San Diego's technology space is concentrated in a handful of employment centers, each with its own mix of building types and security expectations.

Server rooms next to labs

On biotech and life-science campuses, the server room is often a few doors from a wet lab. That puts two sets of cleaning rules side by side, and they must never mix. Carts, mops and cloths used in lab zones stay in lab zones, and the server room gets its own HEPA vacuum, anti-static wipes and residue-free floor cleaner. Crews change gloves and shoe covers where your gowning rules require it, and they never carry lab chemicals or waste through IT space.

Where a site also runs cleanrooms, EBS's ISO- and GMP-aligned cleanroom programs keep logs and service reports that sit alongside the IT room records.

Security on defense-linked and government sites

Defense and military work is one of San Diego's largest economic sectors, and Sorrento Mesa is also home to the FBI's San Diego office, so many technology sites carry strict security expectations. Programs on these sites use a small, fixed, background-checked crew, escorts where required, sign-in and key logs, and clean-desk rules under which papers and screens are never touched. EBS has worked in high-security and government facilities and writes your rules into the scope before the first visit.

Campus routes for IT closets

Corporate campuses in Rancho Bernardo, the Golden Triangle and Carlsbad often have an IT closet or small server room in every building. Rather than treating each as an afterthought, the program sets a route: every room listed by building and floor, each with a checklist covering floor, rack exteriors and grilles, and every visit logged in eHub. Facilities and IT managers can see which rooms were done and when, and gaps are caught at the next inspection rather than months later.

Getting crews to San Diego County

EBS runs every program from its one office in Corona, sending crews down I-15 to North County and on to the central San Diego employment centers. The same team is assigned to your site so access lists stay stable, backup staff cover absences, and a priority line answers around the clock for leaks, spills or other problems in sensitive rooms.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Can one crew clean both our labs and our server room?

Yes, as long as the zones stay separate. The crew uses dedicated equipment and supplies for each, follows your gowning and glove-change rules between them, and cleans IT space with HEPA and anti-static methods only. The scope spells out the order of work and what may move between rooms.

Do you clean IT closets across multi-building campuses?

Yes. Each closet and server room is listed by building and floor with its own checklist and frequency, and every visit is recorded in eHub. That gives your IT team a clear record and makes it obvious if a room is missed.

How do you handle security at defense-related technology sites?

By following your rules exactly and keeping the crew small and constant. Background-checked team members work under escort where required, sign in and out, never handle papers or screens, and stay out of rooms they are not cleared for.

Can you provide data center janitorial service for the whole building?

Yes. Technology sites often prefer one vendor for the server room and everything around it: offices, lab support areas, restrooms, break rooms and lobbies. The IT rooms keep their own protocol and inspection line, while the rest of the building follows a standard janitorial scope on the schedule you choose.

Do you cover North County business parks as well as Sorrento Valley?

Yes. Carlsbad, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, Poway and Rancho Bernardo are in the service area along with Sorrento Valley, Mira Mesa, Kearny Mesa and University City. All San Diego County programs are run from the Corona office.
