Warehouse Cleaning Services in Buena Park, CA

Distribution center and industrial cleaning for Buena Park's Valley View Street area, built around freight schedules, dock activity and shift changes.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance provides warehouse cleaning services in Buena Park, CA for distribution centers, manufacturing plants and warehouse space around Valley View Street and the I-5 and SR-91 corridors. Programs cover machine floor scrubbing, dock and trailer-bay cleanup, racking lanes, high dusting, and restrooms and break rooms for every shift. Work is timed around freight and shift schedules, logged for your records, and staffed from our Corona office.

Valley View Street and the I-5 and SR-91 logistics base

Buena Park's industrial space is concentrated around Valley View Street. The area includes the large CenterPoint SoCal Logistics Center, formerly a JC Penney distribution center. Around it are the manufacturing and warehousing companies that, together with the Entertainment Corridor and the Auto Center, make up the city's economic base.

The draw for logistics users is access: I-5 and SR-91 both pass through the city. Freight access also means truck traffic, and truck traffic means dust, tire debris and grit carried through dock doors every time they open.

Warehouse cleaning services in Buena Park: area by area

A distribution building is several different cleaning jobs under one roof. The scope breaks it down so each area gets the right method and frequency.

Timing the work around freight and shifts

Most of the heavy work happens when the floor is quietest: overnight, on weekends or in the window between shifts. In buildings that run continuously, EBS cleans in zones, coordinating with the shift lead so a section is released, cleaned and handed back before the next wave of freight arrives.

Crews follow your site's traffic and PPE rules, use signs and cones around wet floors, and keep scrubbers out of active forklift paths. Restrooms and break rooms are timed just before shift changes so each crew starts with clean facilities.

Heat on the dock and inside the building

Summer heat affects both the people doing the cleaning and when the work is best done. Cal/OSHA's outdoor heat illness rule, Title 8 section 3395, covers outdoor work such as clearing dock aprons and yards, while section 3396 covers indoor workplaces that get hot, which can include warehouses without cooling. Strenuous outdoor and dock tasks are therefore scheduled for the cooler parts of the day whenever the operation allows it.

Capacity for large buildings, with records to match

EBS has serviced more than 10 million square feet, and its largest single contract covers over 1 million square feet, so very large distribution buildings fit the kind of work it already does. Each account has a field supervisor, scheduled and unannounced inspections, and service logs in eHub that record completed work and any corrective action, which is useful when a safety lead or auditor asks.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Can you clean a distribution center that runs around the clock?

Yes. Continuous operations are cleaned in zones. EBS agrees a rotation with your shift leads so each area is released, cleaned and returned on a set schedule, and restrooms and break rooms are timed before shift changes. Nothing has to shut down for the cleaning to happen.

Do you clean loading docks and trailer bays?

Yes. Dock cleaning covers debris, shrink wrap and strapping, spills, and the build-up that collects around dock plates and doors. Docks are usually the busiest and most cluttered part of a warehouse, so many sites schedule dock cleanup more often than the rest of the floor.

What equipment do you use on warehouse floors?

Machine scrubbers sized to the building, walk-behind or ride-on, along with sweepers for debris and HEPA-filter vacuums for offices and dust-sensitive areas. Equipment and chemicals are chosen at the walkthrough based on whether the concrete is sealed, coated or bare.

Can you also clean the warehouse offices and restrooms?

Yes. Most warehouse programs include a janitorial scope for offices, shipping counters, restrooms, locker rooms and break rooms. Both parts run under one supervisor and one inspection record, so you have a single contact for the whole building and one set of records to review.
