Retail Store Cleaning in San Bernardino County

Cleaning for stores and shopping centers from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga to Redlands and Victorville, with the option to fold in the distribution space behind them.

The short answer

EBS Maintenance offers retail store cleaning in San Bernardino County for outlet and regional malls, open-air centers, downtown storefronts and High Desert retail strips, from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga to Redlands and Victorville. Crews work after close or before opening, with periodic floor care, glass and pressure washing. Retailers that also run warehouse or distribution space in the county can put stores and buildings under one program. Every crew is dispatched from EBS's Corona office, next door to the West Valley.

West Valley: Ontario Mills, Victoria Gardens and Montclair Place

The West Valley's retail is anchored by three large centers. Ontario Mills is in the same city as Ontario International Airport, the convention center and Toyota Arena. Victoria Gardens is Rancho Cucamonga's main retail destination, with Terra Vista Town Center nearby, and Montclair Place sits beside the Montclair Transit Center on I-10.

Smaller districts round out the area: Historic Downtown Upland and the Euclid Avenue corridor, and the Foothill Boulevard stretch of historic Route 66 through Fontana. Each mixes chain stores with independent shops, restaurants and service businesses that share walkways and parking.

Central and East Valley storefronts

Further east, retail is more spread out. Downtown Redlands and the Santa Fe Depot District hold older storefronts linked to San Bernardino by the Arrow commuter line, Citrus Plaza serves shoppers near the I-10, and San Bernardino, the county seat, counts retail and the Stater Bros. grocery chain among its largest employers. Older buildings bring smaller restrooms, tighter stockrooms and original floors that need gentler methods than a new big-box slab.

High Desert retail beyond the Cajon Pass

In Apple Valley, retail lines SR-18 (the Happy Trails Highway) and Bear Valley Road; in Victorville, it runs from Old Town to the centers along I-15; and Hesperia has its own Main Street. These stores are a longer drive from Corona over the Cajon Pass, so EBS groups High Desert locations into one route and keeps the same crew on it, which makes each visit efficient and familiar.

Desert grit is the daily challenge. It comes in on shoes and carts, scratches floor finish and builds up in entry mats, so High Desert scopes put extra weight on mat cleaning, dust mopping and protective floor finish.

Retail store cleaning in San Bernardino County: what the program covers

The core scope follows the standard EBS retail list: sales floors, fitting rooms, checkouts, restrooms, glass, trash and recycling, and floor care. These additions are common in this county:

  • Restroom checks several times a shift at outlet and regional mall stores with heavy weekend traffic
  • Early-morning pressure washing of walkways and patio seating at open-air centers
  • Entry mat rotation and extra dust mopping where wide parking lots and dry conditions bring in grit
  • Separate organics collection at grocery stores and food areas under California SB 1383
  • Back-room work planned around Cal/OSHA's indoor heat rule, Title 8 section 3396, when stockrooms get hot in summer
  • Warehouse cleaning for the same retailer's distribution space: machine scrubbing, dock areas, racking aisles and break rooms

Supervision and getting started

Field supervisors visit each store on a routine schedule and record their inspections and any corrections in eHub, and backup staff cover absences so no store is skipped. EBS has more than 25 years of commercial cleaning experience, and its people are trained, vetted, uniformed and background-checked before they are assigned. For building-wide programs, see the San Bernardino County janitorial page; the main retail page lists the full task scope.

Request a walkthroughAll questions
Do you clean stores in the High Desert?

Yes. Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville and Adelanto are all inside EBS's San Bernardino County service area. Crews travel from Corona, and High Desert stores are grouped into one route so the same team handles them on a set schedule each week.

Can our stores and our distribution center share one contract?

Yes. EBS provides both retail and warehouse cleaning, so a retailer with stores in the West Valley and a distribution building elsewhere in the county can use one supervisor, one inspection system and one point of contact. Each building keeps its own scope and schedule.

Can you work inside an enclosed mall's access hours?

Yes. Many enclosed malls set the hours when vendors may enter and move equipment through common areas. EBS plans the crew's start and finish times around those rules, uses the service corridors the mall assigns, and books longer floor projects on nights the mall approves.

What happens if our regular cleaner calls out?

A backup team member covers the shift so the store is still cleaned that night. The field supervisor confirms the work at the next inspection and records it in eHub, and you have one contact to call if anything was missed.
