Retail Store Cleaning in Los Angeles County
Cleaning for Los Angeles County stores, malls and showrooms, with crews grouped by subregion so the same people return to the same doors.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance provides retail store cleaning in Los Angeles County for luxury boutiques, regional malls, outlet centers, street-front shops and showrooms, from Westside shopping streets to the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys. Crews clean after close or before opening, add porters for heavy-traffic seasons and are inspected by field supervisors. Teams are dispatched from the company's Corona office and routed by subregion, so one crew covers neighboring stores in a single shift.
Retail store cleaning in Los Angeles County, area by area
Los Angeles County has no single retail center. Demand is spread across six subregions, each with its own mix of malls, outlet centers and shopping streets, and each with different traffic patterns and building ages. These are the districts that shape most store schedules:
- Westside: Westfield Century City, Rodeo Drive and the Golden Triangle in Beverly Hills, the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Brentwood Country Mart and Westfield Culver City
- Central Los Angeles: The Grove and the Farmers Market off the Miracle Mile, Hollywood Boulevard, design showrooms near the Pacific Design Center and wholesale in the downtown Fashion District
- South Bay: Del Amo Fashion Center in Torrance, the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach and SouthBay Pavilion in Carson
- Southeast: Citadel Outlets in Commerce, Los Cerritos Center and Cerritos Auto Square, Lakewood Center, Stonewood Center in Downey and the Pacific Boulevard strip in Huntington Park
- San Gabriel Valley: Old Pasadena, The Shops at Santa Anita, Plaza West Covina, Valley Boulevard in San Gabriel and Atlantic Times Square in Monterey Park
- San Fernando Valley: the Glendale Galleria and Americana at Brand, Westfield Topanga, Westfield Fashion Square, Sherman Oaks Galleria, Northridge Fashion Center and Universal CityWalk
Boutique discretion and outlet volume
A boutique on Rodeo Drive and a store at Citadel Outlets are both retail, but they are cleaned in different ways. Luxury stores in the Golden Triangle see fewer visitors, carry more stone, brass and glass, keep private client rooms, and employ staff who notice a fingerprint on a vitrine. Crews there work quietly, use non-abrasive products on specialty finishes and touch display pieces only where the store allows it.
Outlet and regional mall stores carry the opposite load: heavy weekend crowds, fitting rooms turned over all day, bins that fill by mid-afternoon and restrooms that need several checks per shift. Those stores pair a daytime porter with nightly machine scrubbing of hard aisles, and mall food areas need their waste sorted for organics under California SB 1383.
Street-front shops on Pacific Boulevard, Valley Boulevard or Hollywood Boulevard sit in between. Sidewalk grit comes straight in, many have a single restroom, and the right answer is often a shorter clean several nights a week with periodic pressure washing of the entry.

Showrooms from Cerritos Auto Square to West Hollywood
Dealership showrooms, such as those around Cerritos Auto Square, along Main Street in Alhambra and on Calabasas Road, combine tall glass walls, large tile or polished concrete floors, customer lounges with coffee stations and service waiting rooms. The scope covers all of them, with glass and floor shine set on a calendar that matches how often the showroom hosts events or deliveries.
Design showrooms along West Hollywood's Avenues of Art and Design and wholesale showrooms in the Fashion District hold fabrics, rugs and furniture finishes that chemicals can mark. Crews there rely on HEPA vacuums and dry dusting, apply product to the cloth instead of spraying, and leave samples and displays exactly where they were found.
Scheduling across a county this size
Travel time shapes every Los Angeles County schedule, so EBS groups stores by subregion and keeps the same people on the same route. Field supervisors inspect each location on a routine cycle and record findings and fixes in eHub. A workforce of more than 100 employees, backed by dedicated relief staffing, means one absence does not leave a store uncleaned.
The Los Angeles County janitorial page covers building-wide programs, and the main retail page lays out the standard task list. Request a walkthrough or call (949) 375-3305 to have a supervisor review your stores and price a scope.

Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsDo you clean luxury boutiques with special finishes?
Yes. Stone floors, lacquered fixtures, metal trim and display glass are listed in the scope with the product and method for each, and crews use non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners. Anything the store considers off limits, such as merchandise or client rooms, is marked at the walkthrough.
Can you add a day porter at a mall store for the holidays?
Yes. A porter can be added for the busy season to keep fitting rooms, restrooms, entries and bins under control during trading hours, then removed in January. The overnight crew stays on its normal scope, so the store gets both coverage types while traffic is at its peak.
Our stores span the Westside and the San Gabriel Valley. Is that one account?
Yes. EBS covers all six Los Angeles County subregions on its service map from the Corona office, and a multi-store account shares one contact, one checklist and one inspection record. Each store still keeps its own visit schedule based on its size and traffic.
What do you need from us before the first night of service?
Keys or access cards, alarm codes and the arming procedure, the manager contact, the location of supply storage and a list of restricted areas. The supervisor collects all of this at the walkthrough and confirms it with the crew before the first shift.
Do you pressure wash storefront sidewalks and entries?
Yes. Pressure washing is part of EBS's specialty work and is usually scheduled early in the morning before stores open. Crews contain the wash water so it does not run into storm drains, and gum and stain treatment are added where needed.
