Office Cleaning Services in Sorrento Valley, CA
Office cleaning for the engineering floors, meeting rooms and kitchens used by Sorrento Valley's technology and life-science companies.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance provides office cleaning services in Sorrento Valley, CA for technology, biotech and IT companies with offices on Sorrento Mesa and the valley floor. Crews clean workstations and hot desks, meeting and focus rooms, kitchens, restrooms and glass, separate recycling and organics, and handle badge-controlled areas, prototype rooms and after-hours alarms under rules your security team sets.
The Sorrento Valley office is not a standard floor
Technology and research companies near UC San Diego fill their space with engineering desks carrying several monitors, collaboration areas, small focus rooms, demo or test rooms, and offices that open directly onto labs. Qualcomm's headquarters on Morehouse Drive anchors Sorrento Mesa, and the valley is home to many other high-tech, biotech and IT firms.
Some employees ride the Coaster to Sorrento Valley station, and buildings near the I-5 and I-805 merge fill and empty in waves. An office cleaning plan here has to reflect how these floors are actually used, desk by desk and room by room.
Office cleaning services in Sorrento Valley, CA: desks to demo rooms
Electronics are the main hazard in a tech office. Crews do not unplug equipment, move test setups or spray liquid near hardware; surfaces with equipment on them are dusted carefully or skipped and noted for the office manager.
- Engineering desks: cleared surfaces wiped, cables, monitors and hardware left untouched, floors vacuumed under and around desks
- Hot desks and hoteling areas: every unclaimed surface disinfected each night it was used
- Meeting and focus rooms: tables, chairs, whiteboards and glass walls cleaned, conferencing equipment dusted only if listed in the scope
- Kitchens and coffee bars: counters, sinks, coffee machine exteriors, tables and floors
- Restrooms and any showers: cleaned, disinfected and restocked
- Waste: recycling and organics emptied into the building's streams under SB 1383, with e-waste left for the tenant's recycler

Badges, prototypes and after-hours alarms
Technology and life-science tenants protect unreleased products and research. Prototype rooms, test labs and executive areas are often limited to a short list of badges, and some can only be entered with an employee present. EBS has experience in confidential, access-controlled environments and treats these rooms by written rule.
For after-hours service the scope records the badge zones the crew may enter, the alarm arming and disarming steps, doors to relock and a contact for anything unusual. Nobody receives access until EBS has vetted them and their background check is complete.
Hybrid engineering teams and daytime support
Many engineering teams are on site only part of the week. Cleaning can follow the busiest days, with full service when floors are occupied and a lighter restroom, kitchen and trash pass on quieter days. Hot-desk areas are still disinfected on any night after use.
Large campuses often add a day porter to keep kitchens, coffee bars and meeting rooms in order through the workday. The porter works from the same scope as the evening crew and reports supplies and problems to the supervisor.
Supervision and getting started
A field supervisor inspects each office through eHub, records corrective actions and handles scope changes. Backup staff cover absences, and 24/7 priority support takes urgent calls. Call (949) 375-3305 to request a walkthrough; EBS sends someone from its Corona office to review your floors, access rules and sensitive rooms before quoting.

Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsDo your cleaners touch computers or lab equipment on desks?
No. Monitors, keyboards, docking stations and test equipment are left alone unless your scope asks for specific items to be dusted. Crews wipe only clear surfaces and never unplug or move hardware.
Can you clean prototype or restricted rooms?
Yes, under your rules. These rooms are listed at the walkthrough and are either cleaned with an escort, cleaned at a set time or excluded. Access is limited to the crew members you approve.
Do you restock kitchens and coffee bars?
Yes, from the supplies you provide. Crews refill paper goods, cups and soap from your stock and report when it runs low. Ordering coffee and food usually stays with your office team.
Can cleaning shift to fewer nights when our team is mostly remote?
Yes. Frequencies are set by occupancy, so service can drop on remote days and rise when teams return. Changes are agreed with the supervisor and written into the scope.
What about conference rooms used late for calls in other time zones?
The crew works around them. Booked rooms are skipped and revisited later in the shift, or picked up first thing the next morning by a porter if the room is in use past the crew's hours.
What happens with labs that open off the office floor?
They get floors and trash only, and only if your lab team agrees. Benches, instruments and hazardous waste stay with lab staff, and rooms with controlled environments can be added later under a separate cleanroom program aligned with ISO and GMP practice.
