The Miracle Mile is a Wilshire Boulevard district between Fairfax and Highland avenues best known for Museum Row: LACMA, the Academy Museum, the Petersen Automotive Museum and the La Brea Tar Pits. Office buildings such as Museum Square house entertainment-industry organizations, and the D Line subway now stops at Wilshire/La Brea and Wilshire/Fairfax.
