Office Cleaning Services in Downtown San Diego, CA
Cleaning for the suites and shared floors where Downtown San Diego tenants work, from high floors in the Core to smaller offices in Little Italy and East Village.
The short answer
EBS Maintenance provides office cleaning services in Downtown San Diego, CA for single suites, full floors and multi-tenant buildings in the Core, the Civic Center area, Little Italy and East Village. Crews handle the tenant-facing details (workstations, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, interior glass and sorted waste) after hours or during the day, under key, badge and alarm rules agreed with you before the first visit.
Downtown's office districts and what tenants there need
The Core holds downtown's office towers and much of its public-sector space, including San Diego City Hall and offices for county, state and federal government. Tenants range from one-room suites to multi-floor users, and a plan for a small suite looks nothing like the plan for a full floor with its own kitchen, training room and reception desk.
Little Italy, on the north edge of downtown near San Diego International Airport, and East Village, around Petco Park, mix offices with homes and shops. Offices there often share an entrance, elevator or garage with residents and retailers, so who cleans each shared area has to be settled in writing before anyone starts.
Room by room: office cleaning services in Downtown San Diego, CA
Hot-desking floors need their own routine. When nobody owns a desk, every surface left clear is wiped and disinfected each night with an EPA-approved product, and personal items left behind stay exactly where they are. Assigned desks with papers on them are dusted around, never sorted.
California's SB 1383 organic waste law requires businesses to keep food scraps and other organics out of landfill trash. Crews carry kitchen organics, recycling and landfill bags separately to the building's containers, so the sorting your staff did during the day is not undone at night.
- Workstations: cleared surfaces wiped, chairs tucked in, keyboards and phones left alone unless the scope says otherwise
- Conference rooms: tables and whiteboards wiped, chairs reset, glass walls spot-cleaned, catering debris removed
- Kitchens and break rooms: counters, sinks, appliance fronts and tables cleaned, dishwasher run if agreed
- Restrooms: fixtures cleaned and disinfected, dispensers refilled, floors mopped
- Interior glass: entry doors, sidelights and partitions, with bay-air salt film checked on entrances
- Waste streams: organics, recycling and trash kept apart from bin to dumpster

After-hours access, alarms and confidential rooms
Downtown buildings run on badges, key control and alarm codes, and many lock elevators to specific floors at night. Before service begins, the walkthrough records who issues badges, which keys the crew holds, the alarm arming sequence for your suite and which doors must be relocked behind the crew.
Rooms with sensitive material, such as HR files, legal records, server closets or executive offices, can be marked clean-on-request or left out entirely. EBS has worked in high-security and access-controlled settings, including government operations, and nobody on your crew receives building access until EBS has vetted them and completed a background check.
Hybrid weeks and adding a day porter
Many downtown offices are full midweek and quiet on Mondays and Fridays. The cleaning schedule can follow that pattern, with full service on heavy days and a lighter pass on quiet ones, so the budget goes to the days people are actually in the office.
For tenants whose kitchens and conference rooms run hard all day, a day porter can be added for a few hours or a full shift. The porter restocks restrooms, resets meeting rooms between bookings and clears up after the lunch rush, while the evening crew keeps the deeper work.
Setting up service for your suite
Request a walkthrough at (949) 375-3305. EBS sends a team from its Corona office to see the suite or floor, notes access rules and room types, and returns a written scope, schedule and price. Once service starts, a field supervisor inspects on a routine cycle and logs results and corrective actions in eHub, and backup staff cover any absence.

Questions we hear
Still not sure? A supervisor can answer at the walkthrough.
Request a walkthroughAll questionsCan you clean just one suite in a larger downtown tower?
Yes. EBS can clean a single tenant suite under its own agreement while the landlord's contractor handles the lobby and common areas. The walkthrough confirms where your space ends, which restrooms are yours and how the crew gets badge access to your floor.
Will your cleaners touch papers on our desks?
No. Desks with papers, files or personal items are dusted around, not cleared, and only bare surfaces are wiped. If you want desks fully cleared and disinfected each night, a clean-desk routine can be agreed with your staff and written into the scope.
Do you clean conference room glass and whiteboards?
Yes. Glass walls, doors and whiteboards are part of the standard office scope, and rooms used for client meetings can be checked more often. Whiteboards marked do-not-erase are left as they are.
How are alarm codes and keys handled?
They are recorded at the walkthrough and limited to the crew assigned to your space. Your contact decides which codes and keys are issued, and any change, such as a new alarm code or a lost key, is handled through the EBS supervisor.
Can the schedule change if our office moves to fewer in-office days?
Yes. Frequencies can be adjusted when occupancy changes, for example full cleaning on in-office days and a lighter visit on remote days. The change is written into the scope so the crew and supervisor work from the same list.
