Kearny Mesa, CA

Kearny Mesa is mostly commercial and industrial and is designated a Subregional Employment Area in the City's General Plan, with manufacturing, distribution and office uses; the City's updated community plan envisions it as an employment community. Uses range from the industrial park that grew around Montgomery Field and the Spectrum mixed-use development on the former General Dynamics site to the Convoy Pan Asian district, auto dealerships, a large County of San Diego office complex and Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. The area is bounded by SR-52, I-805, I-15 and Aero Drive, next to MCAS Miramar.
